Qigong, Dharma, Mettā and Awakening

Teja Bell

We know ourselves as physical beings, mental beings, and emotional beings, but we’re also energetic beings. This life force moving through us, whether we call it prāṇa, or qi, or bioelectrical energy, has an innate and built-in intelligence. That which animates our life also connects right into the life of the universe itself. So when we practice in this way, we’re practicing a very deep and profound meditation—a direct connection to the universe. Internal practices like Yoga and Qigong support us to relax and release through the body to allow this natural flow of energetic being to take place.
