Where are we dwelling? Where do we allow our thoughts to dwell? In order to be able to trust in the expansive qualities of the mind, even to imagine the expansive qualities of our own mind, requires a certain amount of faith and courage. It’s new terrain for those of us that might be really good at worrying, planning, and being anxious. Imagining a mind at ease, a unified, clear mind—how do we open to that possibility? Courage in practice is trusting the capacity of our own heart, our own goodness, as a place of rest and refuge.
