Teacher Reflections in Turbulent Times

John Martin, Tuere Sala

As we begin the New Year, we are holding in our hearts the depth of the suffering that is present in the world we live in. There are wars and conflicts in many parts of the world that are causing enormous suffering. We are sharing links to several reflections offered by Spirit Rock teachers regarding the Hamas/Israel conflict and how to practice in turbulent times.

These statements are offered to support your practice. Spirit Rock does not take policy positions on issues, but always stands for supporting those bringing peace and love into the world.

We recognize that statements alone don’t alleviate suffering and they will not end the atrocities occurring around the world. They are offered in the spirit of Sangha.
