Amy J Wang

Amy Wang has been practicing Insight Meditation since 2010. She is drawn to intensive retreat practice and has participated in multi-month retreats at Spirit Rock and IMS. In 2018, she temporarily ordained as a Buddhist nun with Sayalay Susila in Malaysia, which was a beautiful experience.

Amy has completed 500+ hours of yoga teacher training from Breathe Together Yoga studio, and she currently teaches yoga at a behavioral health center in Sunnyvale, CA, and other studios. She is very interested in using yoga, qigong, and mindful movement for developing self-regulation and awareness. She has been deeply touched by the kindness of all her teachers, and by the beauty of the Dharma, and she aspires to share that kindness with others.
