Needs-based assistance
Scholarships are limited to those with significant financial need.
If you need a scholarship to attend, we encourage you to select the scholarship rate that best aligns with you and your financial circumstances.
For those facing financial hardship, including elders 65+ on fixed incomes, or those with serious or life-threatening illnesses.
For young adults (ages 18–26) experiencing financial need who wish to attend a program and deepen their practice.
Please note that registration fees do not include teacher dana. At the end of the retreat, there will be an invitation to offer dana to the teachers and to Spirit Rock.

Eugene is the founding teacher of San Francisco Insight. He is a senior teacher on the Spirit Rock teacher council. Eugene’s teaching is influenced by Theravada, Zen and Tibetan practice. He is also a Diamond Approach teacher. He’s passionate about practicing 24/7, supporting awareness, investigation, and realization in daily life.

DaRa Williams has practiced Insight Meditation for over 25 years and completed the Spirit Rock/IMS/IRC Teacher Training. She serves as a Spirit Rock Stewarding Teacher and Associate Guiding Teacher at IMS. With a background in mental health, she’s also a trainer, wellness coach, and certified Focusing-Oriented Therapist. DaRa trains in Aboriginal Focusing Oriented Complex Trauma Therapy, integrating healing with contemplative practice.

Nakawe Cuebas Berrios has been practicing Buddhism for over 20 years . She completed the IMS Teacher Training Program, studied in the DPP and CDL affiliated with Spirit Rock. She teaches on retreats and is on the Teachers Council of New York Insight. Liberation of heart and mind are possible!
Trinity was introduced to yogic breath and asana at the age of 12, it has continued to be a central part of her life for the last 30 years. Her teaching is influence by her study of Qi Gung, Feldenkrais, Ayurveda and 25 years of being a professional massage therapist.
