Last Will & Testament
A Last Will & Testament is a legal document that outlines how your assets and property should be distributed after your death. It allows you to name a guardian for minor children and an executor to carry out your wishes according to your instructions.
Revocable Living Trust
A Revocable Living Trust is a legal tool that allows you to manage and distribute your assets both during your life and after your death. You name yourself as the initial trustee and a successor trustee to manage the trust and distribute your assets based on your instructions.
How Is a Revocable Living Trust Different from a Will?
A Revocable Living Trust and a Last Will & Testament accomplish similar things, but have important differences.
