Djuna Devereaux

Djuna Devereaux (she/her) is a rare teacher who weaves the power of āsana training, with somatic movement, anatomy, and the wisdom of yoga and the Buddha Dharma, into each transformative offering. The yoga postures and movements are designed to cultivate sensitivity and vitality, while supporting the body’s innate capacity to heal. The āsanas are articulated as vehicles of insight, inviting us to awaken to present moment experience through the intelligence of the body.

She teaches at Spirit Rock and currently leads their Dharma and Yoga Teacher Trainings.

Djuna is faculty for Prajna Yoga, and her teaching is a reflection of thousands of hours spent studying with Tias & Surya Little. She is an I.A.Y.T. certified yoga therapist in private practice and is currently in the Somatic Experiencing Practitioner certification program. She serves on the Sacred Mountain Sangha Leadership Council supporting her primary Dharma teachers, Thanissara and Kittisaro.

Djuna offers workshops and teacher trainings internationally, and annual retreats at Green Gulch and Tassajara. Djuna has also graced the cover of and been featured in Yoga Journal.
