Jennifer Reynolds

Jen Burke Reynolds is a natural born dreamer. She was first drawn to yoga in both its physical and more contemplative expressions in early childhood. Although she didn't begin formally practicing, and falling in love with the practice, until 1994. since then, Jen has had the opportunity to train and study with many wonderful asana teachers of various lineages and traditions. however, she has been perhaps most deeply influenced by her vipassana teacher Jack Kornfield and her studies at Spirit Rock. Jen completed Spirit Rock's first Mindfulness Yoga Teacher Training in 2008, an indepth 18 month program exploring yoga and buddhism, and cherishes the tradition of deep silence and stillness she continues to experience there. Most recently, Jen completed her 500 hour teacher training through yoga works with nikki estrada in Marin County, CA. Jen cites her relationship with her husband; their travels through India together; and the birth of their son as some of the transformational experiences that inform her teaching most directly. Most recently, she has found great joy and deep humility traversing the spiritual path of motherhood and mid-life simultaneously. Jen wholeheartedly believes in the power of yoga to heal and transform and lovingly encourages her students to find compassion, grace and ease in the present moment. She is deeply grateful for the practice and sees her teaching as both an act of personal devotion and an opportunity to serve her community. Jen's greatest desire is that her offerings help to ease the suffering in the world, however slightly.
