Heather Martin

Heather Martin has practiced different forms of meditation for over thirty years. Her early dharma practice was under the guidance of S.N. Goenka, and has since been influenced by both Burmese and Thai streams of Theravada, most recently studying with U Tejaniya of Burma.

She's been teaching in both south-western Canada and in the U.S. since 2000. She worked for 20 years as a midwife and lives on Salt Spring Island, off the coast of British Columbia. To contact Heather and to see her teaching schedule, visit
