Uma Kahn

Uma Kahn was an adolescent when she donned her first gi to study Tang Su Do over 30 years ago. Since then, her interest in the study and practice of spiritual traditions has not waned . Yoga, meditation and the non-dual side of Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist philosophies have built the foundation on which she works with herself, individuals and groups. Uma makes her living teaching Yoga and offering both Thai massage, and Thai massage classes. In addition, she is in the final stages of earning a Somatic Psychology masters from CIIS (California Institute of Integral Studies), and is currently working to provide grief support to families and children through the Oakland-based agency, Circle of Care.
