Karen Zelin

Karen Zelin has been practicing and teaching yoga and mindfulness in Santa Cruz, CA since 1990. Her teaching emphasizes bringing compassion and kindness to the body/mind/spirit, while increasing aliveness in the body and deepening awareness. She's a graduate of the Spirit Rock Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training, the teacher training for the Iyengar Institute in San Francisco, Judith Lasater's Relax and Renew Training for Restorative Yoga, and she has completed all her coursework for MBSR certification with the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Besides teaching, she and her husband Bill are the parents of twin teenage boys.
