Khristine Jones

Yoga and meditation give Khristine a way to take care of herself physically, emotionally and spiritually. She teaches ashtanga, vinyasa hatha and yin yoga. Khristine believes that asana is a dynamic meditation, to ground us to the moment and help us be in our body and connect with our breath and selves. Her classes are supportive and encouraging, with focus on the breath and on meeting yourself where you are at. She has been practicing in the the Bay Area for 10 years, and has been teaching for 6 years. In 2010, Khristine founded Yoga Punx Bay Area (donation based classes in San Franciso and the East Bay). She recently relocated to the central coast and started a traditional ashtanga shala in Los Osos, California. Khristine is grateful for the refuge of the practice and for all her teachers near and far - Sharath Jois, Devorah Sacks and Stephanie Snyder.
