Florence Meleo-Meyer

Florence Meleo-Meyer, MS, MA, is Director of Oasis Institute for Mindfulness-Based Professional Education and Training within the Center for Mindfulness, at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She has taught MBSR and trained professionals in the US and abroad since the early 90's. She studied meditation with S. Muktananda and S. Chidvilasananda in India and the US, and has been a student of Vipassana meditation for 17 years. A senior Insight Dialogue (ID) teacher, she has studied and taught ID with Gregory Kramer, PhD. She is a licensed family therapist, and holds degrees in Education and Psychology. She lives in Western Massachusetts near her children and grandchildren.
