Monique Ferris

I began movement practice as a child, classically trained into my adult years. As an eight year old I was introduced to yoga and meditation. This kindled in me a deep curiosity into these ancient wisdom traditions. My lifelong passion is in experiencing and understanding the body's awakening and healing through movement and meditation. I am presently a certified Soul Motion teacher, a conscious dance practice designed by Vinn Arjuna Marti. I am devoted to daily sitting practice and using the Soul Motion(TM) core teachings as a vehicle to improve my life on and off the dance floor. I incorporate this movement practice both with adults and children. As a former cancer patient I am grateful to be able to bring conscious movement to institutions and hospitals working with ill and incapacitated children and their caregivers.
