Susan Moon

Susan Moon is a writer and teacher as well as the former editor of Turning Wheel magazine. She is the author of The Life and Letters of Tofu Roshi, and editor of Not Turning Away: The Practice of Engaged Buddhism. She has been a Zen student since 1976, practicing in the lineage of Suzuki Roshi, and she received entrustment as a lay teacher from Norman Fischer in 2005. She has been teaching writing workshops for many years at Green Gulch Farm, Tassajara, the Naropa Institute and the Berkeley Graduate Theological Union, among other places. She also practices photography. Her latest book is This is Getting Old: Zen Thoughts on Aging with Humor and Dignity, published in 2010.
