Continuing Education (CE) Credit

Some events at Spirit Rock offer the opportunity to earn Continuing Education (CE) credit. Who can earn this credit depends on the certifying organization offering it: generally MFTs and LCSWs may earn CE credit, and at some events, psychologists and nurses may also earn CE credit. The number of available CE credit units will vary.

An administrative fee of $30 is normally charged for processing CE credit registration, although at some events this fee may be less. As a convenience to those attending, Spirit Rock accepts online advance payment for CE credit for most daylong events. At other events, you will be instructed to bring your payment and sign up at the event. Note: In order to qualify for CE credit, you must arrive and sign in within 15 minutes of the start of the event, and stay until the end of the event.

Below is a list of the organizations and individuals which currently offer CE credit at Spirit Rock Events:

SRMC: Spirit Rock Meditation Center is licensed to offer CE credit to MFTs and LCSWs for events which meet the qualifications for continuing education as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, provider #PCE1851. SCRC: The Spiritual Competency Resource Center is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. SCRC maintains responsibility for the programs. SCRC is a California Board of Registered Nursing Provider (CEP11909). For complete information visit www.spiritualcompetency.com or contact David Lukoff, PhD at (707) 763-3576. SCRC offers CE credit for events co-sponsord by the Institute For Spirituality and Psychology.

SRMC/SCRC: For some events Spirit Rock Meditation Center and the Spiritual Competency Resource Center team together to offer CE credit to MFTs, LCSWs, psychologists and nurses. SRMC offers CE credit to MFTs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and is provider #PCE1851. SCRC offers CE credit to psychologists and nurses as a California Board of Registered Nursing Provider, and is provider number #CEP11909.
