Does the doom and gloom of climate change leave you wondering what you can do when you feel helplessness, hopelessness, and anxiety? Bob Doppelt, a long-time dharma student who has worked with the Obama Administration to move a positive climate change agenda forward says there is an alternative: "The dharma holds the key to using the suffering generated by climate change as a catalyst for personal and collective growth."
We'll explore how dharma principles and practices can give participants insights and tools to use the adversities associated with climate change to move from despair to resilience and transformation, and to inspire others to do the same. The day will include sitting meditation and experiential exercises.
Young Adults (18-26) and Seniors (65+ with limited and fixed income) are invited to attend this day for $25.
