Tap into and express the deep all-encompassing stream of compassionate energy that we see embodied in Kwan Yin. Come explore this with Sandy Boucher - through silent meditation, chanting, writing and sharing, guided visualization, and a special dance to evoke Kwan Yin in ourselves and in our world.
We will create an altar space with the intention to bring our concerns, loved persons, people in trouble, symbols of ourselves, etc. within the circle of Kwan Yin's presence and the power of the practices we will be doing during the day. Please bring something meaningful for you to place on the altar - photographs of loved ones, a stone, a necklace, a flower. You will take your object home at the end of the day, carrying the compassionate energy of Kwan Yin and our group, as a reminder to ourselves, and perhaps a comfort in our pain and grieving.
Men and women are welcome.
Young Adults (18-26) and Seniors (65+ with limited income) are invited to attend this day for $25.
