Insight Meditation is the practice of connecting through direct experience to the mind, heart and body to understand what is true about ourselves and our lives.
In this daylong workshop, suitable for beginners or those who want a refresher, we will practice sitting meditation, walking meditation, and even eating meditation (bring your own lunch for this!) to explore what it is to be a human being. For most of the day we will be doing experiential exercises of insight meditation in silence. There will be time for asking questions about challenges in meditation practice, developing your own practice at home, and the possibilities from following this path, originally taught by the Buddha 2600 years ago! Come join us and learn about your life.
Young Adults (18-26) and Seniors (65+ with limited and fixed income) are invited to attend this day for $25.
