Debra Chamberlin-Taylor and Master Mingtong Gu co-teach the series. Debra will teach all classes except June 11. Mingtong will teach all classes except May 21 and May 28.
You may register for the full series here, or attend the class on a drop in basis, $10 per class + dana for the teachers. If you are new to this form of Qigong, please attend the first two classes.
Over 6 weeks you will learn the basic practice and skills of Wisdom Healing Qigong. Qigong brings radiant physical and emotional well-being, and it supports, compliments and deepens meditation. Each class will include Qigong movement and teachings as well as guided and silent meditation and dharma teachings.
Master Mingtong Gu is an internationally recognized teacher and healer who received his training from Grandmasters of China and Tibet, and at the world's largest Qigong hospital. This "medicine-less" hospital, Zhineng Qigong Center, has treated over 200,000 patients and has a 95% success rate. He has taught Qigong to thousands in the USA, China and Europe.
Debra, in addition to being a Spirit Rock meditation teacher and a psychotherapist, is a certified teacher of Wisdom Healing Qigong. She has found qigong and meditation used together to be the most healing and transformative practices in her long spiritual journey. Her passion is supporting students to discover the profound healing and awakening that is possible through practicing qigong and meditation. This will be an experiential class, focused on qigong movement and mindfulness and metta meditation.
