Using traditional Buddhist teachings and practices, this retreat explores the non dual relationship of form and emptiness and its implications for our times of environmental challenge. Practices of embodied well being, mindfulness and presence, clarity and steadiness of mind will be the foundation for investigation into the experience of "self, other and relationship." Welcoming our lives and letting go and finding balance are some of the themes for reflection.
This retreat includes meditation, instruction, chi kung, some chanting and simple use of ceremony.
It is our wish to support the practice needs of meditators in early adulthood. To this end, Spirit Rock extends a special invitation to young adults (age 18-26) who wish to attend this retreat at a special rate of $25 per night, on a first come, first served basis. A limited number of special rates are available, please apply early.
