Retreats are an invitation to enter a sanctuary of peace, stillness, insight and self-reflection. Through the combination of mindfulness meditation, wisdom teachings, silence and community, we discover how to live with true happiness and release what interferes with our innate well being.

In this silent retreat we will explore essential Buddhist teachings and meditation practices. There will be systematic instructions in Insight Meditation - as well as in loving-kindness (metta) practice. The evening talks will highlight the central teachings of the Buddha and their practical application to our lives. Throughout the retreat there are meetings with teachers to support you in your practice. There is also a daily practice of mindful yoga that deeply supports the body and the meditation process.

This is an excellent retreat for those wishing to refresh their meditation practice, deepen their understanding of Buddhist teachings in the supportive company of others.
