Leah Weiss

Dr. Leah Weiss is a Contemplative Educator and psychotherapist whose research focuses on the application of meditation in secular contexts. She is a principal teacher for Stanford's Compassion Center, CCARE. Leah has taught in a variety of settings including the Menlo Park Department of Veterans Affairs, where she offers compassion training classes to veterans with Post Traumatic Stress. She also has an appointment as a Lecturer in Stanford's Graduate School of Business and also teaches in the Religious Studies and Continuing Studies Departments. Leah received her BA with honors from Stanford University, her MA in clinical social work from Boston College, and her PhD in theology and education from Boston College. Her website is
